My name is Angenette Byers Carr and I was in search for a home for two years with little hope. My lender was from the NACA program therefore I went through two realtors because lack of education of the NACA program or just wasn't willing to be apart of NACA' s process. When I contacted Mr. Sherrod White and told him my up's and downs in the home buying process he scheduled a meeting that day. We tried several options (outside of NACA) to get me in a home as soon as possible but decided to go with NACA. When working with NACA, the realtor has to attend zoom training and sign their agreements. Sherrod completed all the necessary documents and meetings with no complaints. He was available every time I called or texted about a showing or just to ask a question. Sherrod would stay on the phone with me while he was on his computer to make sure I get in to see a house. If possible, we would go to showing as early as 8 am and late as 7 or 8 pm Sunday-Saturday. We made over 10 offers on houses but Sherrod would not let me give up. The housing market was crazy with high purchase prices therefore he had to work his magic negotiating. One of the homes that rejected my offer called back 30 days later. Sherrod was out of town on a Saturday night visiting family and answered the call. The call he received offered me the chance of re-submitting my offer on a previous house I liked. He did not wait until that Monday morning to call me because he stay by his word of being available 24/7 for his clients. He called me that night with the news. We went back and forth with the other realtor (that night) until a deal was made. Documents were signed on Sunday and Monday I was under contract. Sherrod did not leave me alone once. He was by my side all the way through closing. I closed on my home April 12, 2022 and I could not have signed with a better realtor.
